Toku is a fintech company that simplifies the recurring payment collection process for businesses in Latin America. The main products are two: an enterprise back-office solution and a customer-facing payment platform.
I've lead a bunch of projects, using an agile and incremental development approach. I actively maintain scrapers and third party integrations. I've mainly worked in backend services, but also implemented frontend views. Faced and solved classical problems such as idempotency, data-races, scalability, etc.
The platform is built on a microservices architecture hosted on GCP, with an automated CI/CD. Worked with tools like Websockets, Pub/Sub, Redis, MongoDB, SQL-databases, Cloud Functions and Cloud Runs.
